It was a wonderful celebration of DST’s fifth year of operation at our AGM on Wednesday, 27 September, with over 80 industry members and stakeholders attending the meeting and networking function at Hadley’s Orient Hotel.
Stuart Lennox and Tom Wootton were announced as the successful candidates elected to the DST Board of Directors at the AGM.
We are pleased to present to you a copy of our Annual Report for 2016/17, highlighting our key achievements and activities for the year. We look forward to a positive year ahead focussed on regional dispersal, industry development and advocacy.
We would like to thank outgoing Board Director Will Barbour on his contribution to the Board and support of DST for the past four years.
We are also delighted to announce that Stuart Lennox has been elected to the role of Chairman, and Tom Wootton as Deputy Chairman. Both are passionate advocates of regional tourism and DST. A special thank you to retiring Chairman Vin Barron who did not stand for re-election. Vin will remain on the DST Board in his role as elected Director.
We also welcome Dr Anne Hardy from University of Tasmania (UTAS) as a Board-appointed Director. Ken Stronach was re-appointed as a Board Director representing regional dispersal interests.
