Through a trail of immersive audio stories, actor Ben Winspear narrates historical events and guests. Custom soundscapes by Tasmanian musicians Emily Sheppard and Yyan Ng enhance the experience. Audio engineering by Al Future brings these stories to life.
The tales regale listeners with stories of roller skating, ice cream, and intrigue. A new tale about Sir Douglas Mawson will be added for this Antarctic Festival.
Hadley’s celebration extends to the Orient Bar with iconic guests honoured in feature cocktails including Grace’s Chase, Amundsen’s Frost and Mawson’s Martinez.
The Orient Bar is open daily from 4pm.
