Celebrate Dark Mofo at Hobart’s Iconic Telegraph Hotel
With a line-up curated to match the annual festival
Hobart’s annual festival, Dark Mofo, is landing next month, and the iconic Telegraph Hotel has curated a lineup to match. From 8th – 22nd June, the pub will be engulfed in red and darkness from the ground floor all the way to the rooftop.
The three-week celebration will see the recently rejuvenated watering hole be a haven for live music and food and drink specials, including ice sculptures and snow on the rooftop that overlooks the Port of Hobart.
Wednesdays will be the day for trivia lovers, with Drag Trivia, held each week from 7pm. With glamour and flair, the Drag Queen host will test guests’ general knowledge while ensuring plenty of laughs. It’s free entry with many prizes up for grabs, and handmade pizzas will be offered for just $18.
Foodies can enjoy specials that champion Tasmania’s best produce, like $18 chicken parmis on Tuesdays, traditional Sunday Roasts and late-night pizzas every day.
For those who can’t choose, the Feed Me menu is ideal, with a weekly selection of chef favourites for just $69 per person.

Telegraph Hotel’s Bottomless Brunch on Sundays will also switch tune to match this year’s festival. With DJs, 2 hours of free-flowing select beverages and a choice of brunch dishes. Brunch options include delicious Stone Baked Egg & Bacon Pizzetta, Pepperberry Tasmanian Salmon, Nduja Scrambled Egg, Brunch Salad and Breakfast Beef Burger.
