LARK Distillery, based in Tasmania, has continued its winning streak on the global stage, securing top honors at the 2024 World Whiskies Awards.
Their Symphony Nº1 has been crowned Australia’s Best Blended Malt for the third year in a row, following victories in 2022 and 2023. The awards recognize LARK’s excellence in crafting some of the world’s finest whiskies.
In addition to the World Whiskies Awards, LARK received a total of seven accolades at the prestigious 2024 China Wine and Spirits Awards, including the coveted Double Gold for their Rare and Remarkable 1911 Para Vintage Tawny.
This exceptional single malt whisky, finished in a Seppeltsfield Centennial barrel that once held the 1911 Para Vintage Tawny, has been praised for its rich, complex structure that captivates the senses.
LARK’s Symphony Nº1 also continued to impress, winning Gold for the Best Blended Malt. Other whiskies in their collection, including the Classic Cask, Tasmanian Peated, and Chinotto Citrus Cask, earned Silver medals, alongside their 2023 Lunar New Year Limited Release.

The 1911 Para Vintage Tawny Cask, which earned a Double Gold at the China Wine and Spirits Awards, is a rare gem. Only 135 bottles of this exclusive whisky exist, making it a highly sought-after collector’s item. This unique expression, aged in a barrel that once held Centennial Tawny from Seppeltsfield, represents the pinnacle of LARK’s craft.
