Travelling aboard Odalisque III — a 24-metre catamaran purpose-built in Tasmania for immersive wilderness encounters — guests are treated to an itinerary that captures the essence of Port Davey. The adventure begins with a spectacular seaplane flight from Hobart, soaring over the jagged Arthur Range and iconic Federation Peak before touching down beside Odalisque III. From there, guests spend two nights and three days exploring this UNESCO-listed World Heritage Wilderness Area, guided by On Board’s all-Tasmanian crew. Their deep knowledge of the region’s geology, wildlife and cultural heritage — including the enduring stories of the Needwonnee and Ninene people, the land’s first custodians — enriches every moment.
Travellers can choose their pace, whether that’s heart-pumping hikes and sea-cave adventures, or time to simply pause and absorb the vast silence of the harbour.
