- PAW Patrol Live! celebrates 10 years with Australian premiere in Hobart
Families across Southern Tasmania will be the first in Australia to experience the 10th Anniversary tour of PAW Patrol Live! “Race to the Rescue”, with the national tour making its Australian premiere at MyState Bank Arena, Glenorchy, on Saturday 25 July 2026.
The much-loved Broadway-style production brings Ryder and the heroic pups of Adventure Bay to life in an action-packed live show filled with music, adventure and teamwork. Celebrating a decade of entertaining families around the world, the anniversary tour begins in Hobart before travelling to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
To celebrate the Australian premiere, Destination Southern Tasmania is giving one lucky family the chance to be there, with a Family Pass for four to the 1:00pm performance on Saturday 25 July at MyState Bank Arena.
Families can enter the competition online via the Hobart and Beyond website, with the lucky winner enjoying one of the first performances of the anniversary tour anywhere in the world.
The production features an outstanding all-Australian cast, led by Green Room Award winner Nicholas Dugdale as Ryder, alongside Trent Sinclair as Chase and Jake, Kristie Nguy as Everest and Farmer Yumi, Hanna Harvey as Rocky, Zayneb Zerzouri as Zuma, Matthew Mitchell as Rubble, Callum Smith as Marshall and Captain Turbot, and Jess Phillippi as Skye. Returning favourites Stephen Valeri and Vanessa Menjivar reprise their roles as Mayor Humdinger and Mayor Goodway.
The tour also has a strong Tasmanian connection through Dean Schulz, who serves as Resident Director and the male onstage Swing.
Schulz, well known to local audiences through Hobart’s Carols by Candlelight and numerous productions at the Theatre Royal, describes Hobart as his “home away from home”. Having spent significant time in the city, he’s perfectly placed to help launch the national tour from Tasmania before it heads interstate.
Designed for young audiences while entertaining the whole family, PAW Patrol Live! “Race to the Rescue” follows Ryder and the pups as they work together to solve problems, help friends and race to the finish line. Along the way, the show shares positive messages about teamwork, citizenship, kindness and problem-solving.
This year’s Australian tour is also proudly supporting Assistance Dogs Australia, celebrating the organisation’s 30th anniversary, with donation collections taking place throughout the tour.
Since premiering in 2016, PAW Patrol Live! has entertained more than 7 million people across over 50 countries, making it one of the world’s most successful family stage productions.
