Destination Southern Tasmania CEO, Alex Heroys, described the Tasmanian Autumn Festival as a month-long celebration highlighting the beauty and bounty of the Derwent Valley and Central Highlands.
1st April to the 30th April 2024
The festival showcases the region’s rich history, culture, and natural wonders.
“The Derwent Valley and Central Highlands are home to Tasmania’s oldest pubs and some of the world’s purest water,” said Mr. Heroys. “In Autumn, vibrant foliage, unique fungi, and lush landscapes create the ideal backdrop for wandering extraordinary landscapes, indulging in seasonal produce and wine, and discovering the creations of the region’s artisan community.”
