Digital Solutions Tasmania – mentoring, workshops and webinars

Digital Solutions Tasmania is part of the Australian Government-supported Digital Solutions program, delivered in Tasmania by The van Diemen Project. It’s designed to give small businesses access to local expertise and step-by-step guidance across digital tools, marketing and systems.

What you can access (for eligible businesses):

  • Up to four (4) hours of one-on-one tailored mentoring and advisory support with Tasmanian-based mentors.

  • Workshops, webinars and events you can join online or in person (availability varies).

  • Online learning resources and recorded sessions, useful if you prefer to learn in your own time (topics include practical sessions like Canva, email marketing, website fundamentals, AI and digital security).

Digital Solutions Tasmania highlights support across areas like:

  • Websites & selling online: UX, eCommerce, SEO, analytics and performance tracking

  • Using digital tools better: choosing platforms, integrating tech into day-to-day operations

  • Social media & digital marketing, business software, cyber security and data privacy (and how these connect to broader business needs)

Cost and eligibility:

Business Tasmania notes there’s a $59 registration fee to participate, and eligibility generally includes: being Tasmania-based, for-profit, and employing fewer than 20 full-time equivalent (FTE) staff.
Digital Solutions Tasmania also notes you’ll need an active ABN.
