Road Closures and Use of State Roads for Public Events

To learn about using a state road for a public event, visit the Transport Services website.

Road closures for events require approval from Tasmania Police and the Department of State Growth for traffic management signage on State roads.

Note: This information applies only to roads owned and managed by the Department of State Growth. For local road closures, contact the relevant council or road owner. An online map is available showing road ownership.
