The Off Season 2025

Winter may have wrapped up, but Tourism Tasmania is already gearing up for the 2025 Off Season campaign.

Now in its fifth year, the Off Season campaign continues to position Tasmania as a must-visit winter destination, aiming to drive visitation during the quieter travel period between May and August.

Timelines

Early submissions are encouraged to maximise exposure. Tourism Tasmania will work with submissions in three phases, with inclusion opportunities in campaign activities based on submission timing.

  • Phase 1: Offers submitted by 13 December 2024 will be published on the Discover Tasmania website from early February 2025, providing extended visibility and higher chances of inclusion in core campaign activities.
  • Phase 2: Offers submitted between 14 December 2024 – 31 January 2025 will still be considered for Discover Tasmania’s social media channels and will be included in a second upload to the website in mid-February.
  • Phase 3: Offers submitted between 1 February – 7 March 2025 will be available on the website by early April, just ahead of the campaign’s launch. These later submissions, however, may not be included in marketing activities.

Offer and event submissions close on 7 March 2025, with the Off Season campaign set to go live in early April 2025.

Campaign Highlights for 2025
