Destination Southern Tasmania is currently looking to fill a 6-month casual, maternity cover, contract.
The role of Digital content officer is integral to delivering DST’s marketing strategy. It works directly with the Marketing Manager, and is integral to the team, to ensure DST is a strong, innovative and sustainable regional tourism organisation (RTO).
This role is primarily responsible for being the voice and tone of DSTs consumer channels responsible for the social media marketing and content production. This role will work to enhance DST’s marketing activities and deliver value to members through our marketing activities. The role will be responsible for writing, developing and delivering blogs and social media through DST’s consumer channels, as well as for other brands DST manages (Southern Trove and Heritage Highway). It will implement the content management program for the organisation to reflect the diversity of southern Tasmania’s tourism offering and DST’s membership base.
The role will work closely with the marketing manager to support government, members and corporate partners for the betterment of DST’s reputation and commercial position and the success of the Tasmanian tourism industry.
