DST Tourism Summit
Each year, the Summit provides an opportunity for tourism industry professionals to share ideas, experiences and best-practice strategies to grow your tourism business.
It is an accessible, industry-led event which explores the latest research, consumer insights and examples of leading operators. It’s primary objective is to equip you with practical, relevant tools that can be immediately adapted and applied to tourism businesses of any size or genre to achieve better business outcomes.
Again, like so many conferences and events last year, our 2020 Summit was cancelled, but we look forward to delivering more fantastic business development opportunities in 2021.

Southern Stars of Tourism
The Southern Stars of Tourism is an awards program created to bring together our industry in a celebration of all the great things being done in our region to develop and promote tourism.
There are five Star categories which recognise our industry’s commitment to innovation, leadership and excellence in delivering great visitor experiences. Each year, winners of each category receive prizes which have been specifically selected to help the recipients develop themselves or their businesses further and include advertising air time and print space; content development and distribution; and leadership development opportunities.
Winners and runners-up are announced at a celebratory cocktail gala.
Like many events in 2020, the Southern Stars fell victim to COVID-19. We hope to resume this program again in the near future, but in the meantime, DST is focussed on supporting our industry to recover in the wake of the pandemic, and we look forward to a time where we are all in a position to celebrate our industry once more.
Mona Industry Campaign 2019-2020
