Independent Hobart hotel, The Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel wins National Award for their commitment to the Tasmanian Community.
Tasmanian independent hotel, The Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel has excelled on the national stage, taking out the Outstanding Community Service and Achievement award at the Australian Hotels Association (AHA) National Awards for Excellence.
Held on Monday, the 27th of November, in Adelaide, all state winners were eligible to compete for the National Award. This award celebrates the hotel’s support of community and not-for-profit organisations in the fields of arts, sports and events, with partners including, but not limited to, the Royal Agricultural Society, Women in Tourism and Hospitality, Variety Tasmania, Theatre Royal and Terrapin Puppet Theatre.
The Old Woolstore’s commitment to Community service extends to offering advice and support to the next generation of tourism and hospitality workers, involvement in the THA Job Fairs and Events, and as mentors for the Beacon Foundation High Impact Program.
The Old Woolstore is thrilled to have won this award at the National level. They highly value the work they do in supporting organisations that assist the Tasmanian community.
